Running a business is rarely straightforward, the demands made by Government and the standards you have to meet take time and often add an extra burden. But when you are running a clothing business there is a series of regulations and expectations that are peculiar to the sector, which also have to be met.
A large part of the work done by UKFT centres on ensuring this regulation is sensible and kept to a minimum and actively advising its members on how to comply.
Be it explaining the labelling needs of an overseas market, advising on the use of chemicals or just talking through a point of company law, UKFT is actively working to make doing business easier.
