UKFT Brexit Advice for UK fashion and textile businesses


The most comprehensive guide to Brexit readiness for the UK fashion and textile industry


The UK Fashion & Textile Association is holding a series of free events across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales over the coming weeks to provide practical Brexit advice and support for UK fashion and textile businesses in the lead up to the exit from the European Union. UKFT will outline the actions that companies should be taking to minimise disruption to trade, with a chance to ask questions on specific issues that affect their business.

The events will cover both exporting to the EU and importing from the EU. UKFT will provide an update on the latest developments regarding:

  • Samples (Bringing in or taking out)
  • Export Tariffs
  • Import Tariffs
  • Outward Processing Relief (OPR)
  • Common Transit Convention
  • VAT (for importing or exporting)

There will be a webinar on 28 October 2019 and a dedicated Brexit helpline available at 0207 8439467 (operational from Tuesdays to Thursdays between 2pm and 5pm).
