The British Embassy in Stockholm hosted an evening celebration of British menswear and design at the Ambassador’s Residence on 17 March. Partnering with Swedish agents and representatives working with British brands, the event was full of buyers, key accounts and special guests for an evening reception, with products showcased throughout the Residence. Brands involved included Belstaff, Barbour, Baracuta, Johnstons of Elgin, Sanders Shoes, Bremont Watches and Ted Baker. Jaguar Land Rover showcased the new Range Rover and Diageo hosted a whisky tasting.

“We are an active Embassy in Stockholm and this was a great opportunity to reconnect with Swedish retail industry and celebrate the best of British menswear and design,” said Daniel Taylor, Senior Trade Adviser at the British Embassy Stockholm.

“We were keen to support Swedish agents working with British brands after a difficult couple of years for the retail industry. These are all brands with fantastic stories to tell, from speciality textile production in Scotland to state of the art watchmaking facilities in Henley-on-Thames. A brilliant evening highlighting the best of British design, heritage and culture.”
