Fox Brothers has produced the finest woollen and worsted fabric in Somerset, England for 250 years and is celebrating this big milestone in the company’s history this year. Officially credited as the original creators of flannel, Fox Brothers first developed ‘flannel’ in 1803 and remain the standard bearer for this wonderfully soft, milled cloth.
Fox Brothers invites customers and partners to celebrate its history and future as one of the world’s most prestigious weaving mills. Fox Brothers has adapted and embraced change over the centuries. While journeying through history, the firm continues to develop cloth suitable for the warming climate.
Fox embraces natural fibres including wool – nature’s technical fibre; comfortable, durable, breathable, moisture controlling, renewable and biodegradable.
