With 7+ years in the fashion industry, Christina has built up a wealth of experience that specialises in e-commerce, marketplace and buinsess development. Originally working directly with one fashion brand, Christina started her own fashion blog which is how her passion for independent brands, start-ups, developing business and working with numerous businesses instead of just one came into fruition. This navigated her career to working with various Markeplace platforms including ASOS Marketplace and Luxury platform Ounass where over the course of 6 years she has championed business development for both established and emerging brands helping businesses navigate that space and jump to the right platform ahead of the curve.
Today, Christina works as a Lead E-commerce Fashion Business Development Manager for TikTok – specifically TikTok Shop, which allows you to turn the experience of discovery and community into shoppable moments for your audience.
Over the course of a near-decade, Emily Caine has developed an instinctive understanding of the unique challenges of working in fashion retail. Her extensive experience from within 2 of the UK’s major fashion retailers is the product of working across buying, merchandising, styling, studio operations and project management to name but a few, and it is these experiences that give her such a unique insight into the fashion retail world.
In particular, Emily has extensive experience in menswear buying, playing a major part in the rapid growth of ASOS Menswear. In her time at SOS, she also led the launch of both ASOS White and Collusion, with Collusion going on to become the second most searched brand on the website. Her contribution to these brands extends from conception to delivery of products, and it’s this wide-ranging input that has informed her perceptive take on brand management and development.
Emily moved in 2021 to TikTok, having been inspired by a growing fascination and belief in the burgeoning power of social commerce. Bringing her wealth of experience and expertise, she now leads TikTok Shop’s SMB project, specialising in fashion and mentoring emerging young talent and businesses throughout their entire TikTok Shop journey.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
