An exciting group of UK brands are on show at Paris tradeshow Who’s Next this season, with a diverse mix of new and returning labels.
The UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT) has been taking groups of UK designers and brands to Who’s Next since it first started more than 20 years ago.
“Who’s Next is a fascinating mixture of womenswear brands, young designers, accessories and footwear,” said Laurian Davies MBE, International Business Manager at UKFT. “It’s a good starter show for new UK exporters looking to develop their export business; if they promote themselves cleverly, they will also get the chance to reach established buyers from the UK market, who regularly ‘shop the show’”.
The Department of International Trade offers grants through UKFT to help new exporters with the costs of showing. UKFT, the trade association for the fashion and textile industry, helps designers and brands to prepare themselves to make the most of their investment in the show, and to plan to grow their business and broaden their network of buyers by exhibiting season by season.
