Garment manufacturers: Last chance to reserve your place at Textile Forum

10/09/2019

The deadline to reserve your space to show as part of UKFT’s Manufacturing Zone at this season’s Textile Forum is fast approaching. Garment manufacturers and companies offering production services for apparel and accessories interested in exhibiting at the event should contact alice.burkitt@ukftorg.wpenginepowered.com before 16 September.

Luxury fashion fabric sourcing event Textile Forum will take place at One Marylebone in London from 16-17 October.

The show attracts fabric buyers from major fashion retailers and brands, established independent design businesses and start-ups, tailors and costumiers.

Building on the success of last season’s launch, UKFT is once again supporting a dedicated Manufacturing Zone at Textile Forum to enable designers and brands to meet companies that can offer a wide range of production capabilities.

Exhibitors in the zone offer services including pattern cutting, sampling, the creation of tech packs, pre-production samples and grading to full production runs across multiple categories with low minimums.

Plus Samples, a London-based studio specialising in the production of high end garments in smaller volumes, which exhibited as part of the UKFT Manufacturing Zone at the last edition of the event in March.

Nailya Belkacemi, director of Plus Samples, said: “We are huge fans of the Textile Forum. It’s always incredibly well managed and organised.

“It’s smaller than any other similar shows but I perceive that as an advantage; there is enough time to talk to the visitors and catch up with the exhibitors. The show audience is relevant to what we do, 90% of the visitors could be classified as a potential client. We are looking forward to the next show in October.”
