WATCH: Grey Fox on his passion for British textiles

David Evans is a menswear blogger (@greyfoxblog) who champions British manufacturing and has been lucky enough to go behind the scenes to see how mills including Johnstons of Elgin and Huddersfield Fine Worsted produce their cloth, as well as how Harris Tweed is made.

In this interview for British Textile Week, he explains to Purdey Lines from UKFT why he thinks the provenance of cloth is gaining more interest among style-savvy consumers and how he loves hearing the stories of the people involved in its production.

David Evans of the Grey Fox is pictured wearing a suit tailored from Lovat Mill tweed by Harvie & Hudson.

UKFT’s British Textile Week is a digital showcase of the craftsmanship, imagination and innovation of the UK textile industry.
