Craft Scotland Board Vacancies

Full details can be found in the Candidate Information Pack.

There are currently three Board places available, as members have completed their terms of office, with a further two places by the end of 2022. Craft Scotland is keen to welcome people who can bring fresh perspectives, are passionate about craft, creativity or design, and can help deliver the ambitions of the organisation.

Craft Scotland said it wants to connect with and learn from other perspectives and networks, especially those currently under-represented on public bodies: Black, Asian, Mixed Heritage and/or a Person of Colour, refugee, d/Deaf, LGBTQIA+, under 50, or living with a disability. You wouldn’t be expected to represent specific groups, but to bring your full self, life experience and unique lens.

Additionally, Craft Scotland is interested in connecting with candidates based across the breadth of Scotland and beyond, including professional curators, craft industry professionals and makers, and those new to Boards. You will be supported to participate as a Board member whether you are based in Scotland, the UK or elsewhere.

If you have questions or would like a brief exploratory chat before applying, please contact Chair, Catherine Holden: chair@craftscotland.org.
