Tartan
Lochcarron offers an extensive stocked collection of tartan which can be ordered as cut length by the metre. Available in 3 weights:
- Lightweight Reiver/CTRV – 325 gms
- Medium weight Braeraich/CTBR – 400 gms
- Heavy traditional kilt weight – also great for coatings – Strome CTST–500gms

Seasonal collection AW 21/22:
Lochcarron’s made-to-order seasonal collection comprises an extensive range of designs and fabrics. The collection offers timeless appeal and contemporary classics: coatings in classic tartans and estate checks in oversized scales and vintage colourations: worsted checks in dark and muted shades offset with clear whites and light shades: simple dark ginghams and ever-desirable classic block checks. Mohair is always a delight with its flair and lustrous nature adding highlights to many of Lochcarron’s designs, used as pressed loop or brushed to create diversity within the designs and qualities. By popular demand the design team have added to the worsted stripes, sartorial classics in dusky darks and muted accents. With their heritage in tartan Lochcarron are known for their clever use of pattern and colour, and as such the collection includes are some “quirky and bright colourations”.
States Managing Director Dawn Robson-Bell: “To help our teams and our customers stay safe this year we created an online brochure of all of the designs in the new collection with swatch request forms to allow our customers to view the collection safely from wherever they are working then order swatches or developments. Our agents are also using this to help them link in with as many customers as possible.”

Apparel and Home Accessories:
In addition to their woven fabrics and cut length cloth Lochcarron also create collections of apparel and home accessories. Scarves and stoles are woven in a variety of weights and fibres from soft lambswool and noble cashmere to soft-to-the-touch luxury intimate blends. Blankets and homewares come in some stocked collections and can developed into exclusive designs.
