Member Spotlight: Highland Natural Accents

UKFT member Highland Natural Accents offers you the opportunity to be your own interior or fashion designer at its gallery based in Portree, Isle of Skye.
Highland Natural Accents (‘HNA’) was born from the founder Leslie Foale’s passion for artistically created textiles enjoyed on a daily basis. HNA’s collections of sustainable textiles provide a variety of high-quality home and fashionable accessories.
“Our hand-chosen selections include an assortment of cosy throws, fluffy cushions, stylish wraps, enveloping scarves, warm hats and gloves. We choose sustainable finished textiles made of natural fibres such as cashmere, Merino and Shetland wools, as well as hypoallergenic linen, silk and alpaca. Depending upon the maker, our assortments of textiles are either derived from local mills or spun, loomed or knitted by hand.”

Highland Natural Accents is keen to support local makers. Its large portfolio of makers and designers incorporate with great care nature’s beauty from the islands, highlands and beyond, into their fibres, textures and colours to create hand crafted artefacts. HNA sources primarily from Scotland, but also from Wales, England and Ireland.
