Rocio is an eco-fashion accessories label based in Scotland, founded in 2006 by award winning designer Hamish Menzies.

Rocio

The brand’s artistic direction is to design the finest ladies’ handbags in an imaginative contemporary art style using sustainable wood and the finest materials. Rocio designs are individually carved and sculpted from solid blocks of harvested acacia wood over a meticulous nineteen stage process with individual creation times of up to four weeks. It is this extraordinary attention to detail that truly defines the Rocio brand and ensures that each client receives not only an accessory with a breathtaking aesthetic but a unique work of art epitomising eco-luxury and glamour in its purest sense.

Rocio

Rocio creations take precious time and are designed to be cherished and passed down the generations and not to continually consume the planet’s resources and be discarded creating waste. The brand is fully committed to a circular fashion economy and to reducing waste. For every mature tree harvested by the environment of natural resources and witnessed by a forest ranger 50 tree saplings are planted.

Rocio’s vision is to create responsibly sustainable designs with an outstanding aesthetic that can be enjoyed for the long term.

The brand has attracted prestigious stockists including Vakko in Turkey, Le Bon Marche in France, Fortnum & Mason in England, Isetan Mitsukoshi in Japan, Fivestory NY in USA and the Guggenheim Museum in Spain.
