Meet Textile Forum exhibitors: Focus on Fabrics (Part 1)
Next month’s Textile Forum brings together a cornucopia of fabrics in silk, wool, cotton, linen, on their own or mixed with natural and synthetic yarns.
There will also be specialists in embroidery, buttons, linings, labels and packaging making Textile Forum the one-stop shop for your fabrics, trimmings and “extras”.
At the show you will meet both first time and long-standing exhibitors. Here, we focus on two first-time exhibitors
Alice Timmis is a London-based woven and embroidery textile studio offering custom fabric design, development and manufacturing. Alice Timmis will be showing Italian woven jacquards with a minimum order of 5 metres and launching an exclusive collection of more than 300 handwoven and embroidered designs available to buy as copyright.
Each design is sold only once and the company provides technical information to aid the development and manufacturing process with mills and suppliers.
Lochcarron of Scotland
Lochcarron of Scotland, the world’s leading manufacturer of authentic tartans, is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year of producing in the region.
Three weights of tartan cloth are available from stock, complemented with a range of made-to-order fabrics and accessories with a minimum order quantity of 60 meters per design.
We will be focusing on other suppliers over the coming weeks and hope you will come along to see all the collections between 10am and 5pm, Wednesday and Thursday, on 12-13 October 12-13 at One Marylebone in London.
Textile Forum is curated for designers – from established brands to fledgling firms, as well as students – working within the menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, lingerie, tailoring, interiors, events, costumes, seamstresses and professional clothing sectors.
