WRAP Survey: Risks associated with the use of recycled products

13/05/2021

What are the risks associated with the use of recycled products?

WRAP is working with the Government Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to investigate factors impacting on the use and safety of recycled materials in consumer goods. The product categories in scope for the research are clothing, furniture, soft furnishings, electronics and toys.

To understand the current awareness within businesses on the risks and regulatory regimes associated with the use of recycled content in products, the organisation is conducting two surveys: one with own brand retailers/manufacturers and another with reprocessor organisations.

The surveys will close on Friday 28th May:

WRAP is also looking to recruit businesses and trade organisations to take part in a workshop to review the findings from the project. Please email workshops@wrap.org.uk if you’d like to take part.
