Artizan Training’s sewing machinist repair school

11/09/2023

Artizan Training provides a wide range of sewing machine training courses delivered online or in person for fault finding, maintenance, servicing and repair of many domestic and industrial machines.

The company, based in Kent, offers training for those wanting to become a sewing machine mechanic or to keep domestic machines running smoothly. Artizan also offers bespoke training courses for specialist machines and technical requirements.

Artizan’s founder worked for many years in the sewing industry both in leather and heavy-duty manufacturing before establishing the business to repair and maintain both domestic and industrial sewing machines.

The training centre was set up as it became more apparent that there is an extensive gap in the industry for qualified mechanics. Artizan now provides regular courses for schools, colleges and many companies, as well as individuals who are struggling to find engineers to fix their sewing machines.

Artizan Training is continuing to expand its range of courses, offering training at all skill levels from basic general knowledge right through to mechanic level.

The company also offers a range of books, manuals and guides to help with trouble shooting problems that can be simply resolved. Most of the training is delivered from training centres in Kent and East Sussex, however if you are unable to attend due to distance they also have an extensive online programme of courses that are currently being upgraded to provide an even better style of interactive learning.
