Representation & Government Relations
Representing the industry to the UK Government, UKFT campaigns on a wide range of issues, not least of which is Brexit, ensuring that the needs of the industry are considered at the highest level. UKFT is committed to a positive long term engagement with Government. Through its regular work with Government departments such as the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, the Department for International Trade, the Department for Education, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, The Prime Minister’s Office and HM Treasury, UKFT continues to promote the interests of the industry.
As well as meeting with Ministers and Civil Servants UKFT regularly responds to Government consultations and Select Committee enquiries.
