UKFT member Atelier House UK is a garment manufacturer specialising in luxury womenswear, bridalwear, eveningwear and costume. The company also focuses on machine and hand embroidery, as well as on women’s contour and corsetry. With two premises just outside London, within the Chiltern Hills, Atelier House UK offers complete sampling and production services.

Jennifer Crooks, Atelier House UK’s Founder and CEO, commented:

“Atelier House UK has been brought to the market not only as a full house of sampling, sourcing and production but also to celebrate the art of dressmaking. From our sister company The Modiste, we receive amazing feedback to behind-the-scenes of construction. Atelier House UK is an open door for companies to document the work and skills in production.”

In 2016, Jennifer launched Atelier House UK’s sister company, The Modiste, offering B2C luxury dressmaking to over 700 brides per year. Atelier House UK was founded to unlock the craft of fashion for its B2B partners.

Jennifer explained: “I come from a career in Production Account Management for companies such as John Lewis, The White Company and Cath Kidston, and I started with Bridalwear back in 2016. After travelling all over the world to factories in China and Vietnam, it was time for me to take root back in the UK and most importantly, behind a sewing machine.”

 Atelier House UK offers UK-based sampling and production services, with a focus on low minimum order quantities (MOQ). Jennifer said:

“Atelier House UK brings accessible talent for sustainable low MOQ’s all rooted in our foundations of partnership. We strive to align visions not only on quality and finish, but also in our responsibility for our global footprint. Jennifer brought together a talented and skilled team:

“Our team is a group of amazing women from very different backgrounds. Whether it’s costume for the BBC, ice-skating costumes for competitions, to beautiful full bridal production. We very much promote an attitude of women supporting women. The company comprises account management, pattern drafting, fitting and seamstress teams all with huge wealth’s of knowledge to be able to take an initial sketch right through to final production.”
