Work in costume? Attend a Costume NOS review workshop

04/11/2020

UKFT is inviting industry professionals based in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales to participate in workshops to help us determine which skills and knowledge are required to work in job roles relating to Costume.

This is your chance to participate and share your views on skills and knowledge needed to successfully work in job roles in the above areas.

UKFT is working with ScreenSkills to review and update the existing national occupational standards (NOS) for costume roles. NOS are statements of what someone needs ‘to do’ and ‘to know’ to perform a job role. These standards are used to underpin apprenticeships and help to guide the development of courses at all levels; as well as being a resource for industry to support recruitment and management activities across the UK.

To ensure that standards reflect current practice and the needs of each nation, we are inviting employers and current practitioners to workshops which will be held remotely via Teams / Zoom.

These are not training courses and are an opportunity for you to share best practice with industry colleagues.

There is an event per country. Please only register for the event for the country you are based in.
