The boom in DIY handicraft shows no signs of abating. Discover the British exhibitors to know at the world’s biggest meeting place for creative handicraft and hobby supplies, H+H in Cologne, which opens its doors tomorrow.

Appletons Wool Limited

Appletons supplies 100% British tapestry and embroidery wool in 421 different shades. 2019 sees the launch of the first Appletons kits by some of the most popular designers in the country with a theme of the British Isles.


Baa Ram Ewe

Bothy Threads has an exciting range of counted cross stitch, blackwork and tapestry kits. We offer a varied and contemporary range and have just launched additions to our Wrendale and Bebunni collections and new Lavinia Stamp’s fairies on printed Aida.


James C Brett

James C Brett are manufacturers and wholesalers of a wide variety of classical and fashion yarns, supported by modern up-to-date designs. A long established family company, James C Brett, have over 50 years’ experience in supplying the UK and numerous export markets.


Chester Wool Company

Chester Wool Company manufactures and wholesales a large range of over 1808 natural bases of undyed yarns for hand-dyed artists. Their warehouse and distribution are based in Chester, UK, from where they ship worldwide. The range covers all weights from superfine lace to super chunky bases in hanks, mini skeins and sock blanks.


Corinne Lapierre

Corinne Lapierre creates charming felt kits in a delicate colour palette with a modern take on folk embroidery. The kits are lovingly assembled in Yorkshire by her team, with high quality wool/viscose mix felt. Corinne regularly appears on Create & Craft TV and has published three craft books with Search Press. The brand is currently distributed throughout France and Japan.



Dannells manufacture a range of craft kits that can be used with fabrics, textiles and papers to make creative products for around the home. Kits include lampshades, table lamps, floor lamps, lanterns, clocks and bins. Dannells supply products for retailers, wholesalers, distributors, workshops, manufacturers and educational establishments.
