Support Crisis via the Christmas Pop-Up Shop 2023

14/11/2023

UKFT partner Crisis UK is looking for volunteers to be part of team Crisis for Christmas 2023 and donations of stock for the Savile Row pop-up shop to raise essential funds for homeless people.

The Christmas Pop-Up shop has raised over £300k over three years, helping thousands of homeless people get the skills and opportunities they need to put homelessness behind them for good.

Last year, with the support of Pollen Estate and retailers such as Jimmy Choo, Pringle of Scotland, Anderson & Sheppard and many more, Crisis raised £125,000, which was spent helping 3,484 homeless people over Christmas alone.

Donors have included Budd Shirtmakers, Crockett & Jones, Connolly, Dashing Tweeds, E.Tautz, Globe-Trotter, Grenson, Hamilton & Hare, Henry Poole & Co, Nigel Cabourn, Drake’s, Scabal, JW Anderson, Katherine Hamnett, Grenfell, Hemingsworth, Benson & Clegg, John Smedley, Begg & Co, London Sock Company, Richard James, Hackett  and many more.

It’s easy to get involved and to enjoy the benefits it could bring to your business. Every year the initiative gets great press coverage too.

How it works

  • This year’s retail space is 27 Savile Row, London W1, kindly donated by Henigman Real Estate (the store has been held on Savile Row, London, since 2018).
  • Fashion retailers donate new items (old season and slightly flawed menswear, womenswear, accessories/gifts, and homeware, samples, end-of-line pieces, seconds etc.)
  • Volunteers then sell on the stock at reduced prices in the store.
  • All proceeds go to funding vital project carried out by Crisis
  • The project is shared on social channels using #popupcrisis
