27/02/2019

UKFT is pleased to announce that the fashion and textiles apprenticeship frameworks in Northern Ireland have been fully reviewed and updated.

UKFT’s Skills and Training Manager John West said: “This review is significant as the maintenance and accuracy of information is crucial for all stakeholders in Northern Ireland to ensure that quality apprenticeship delivery can begin.”

The frameworks are open to all training providers in Northern Ireland.

Both frameworks have six pathways covering textiles, apparel, leather goods, footwear, saddlery and leather production. The content of the frameworks has been agreed between the Department for the Economy in Northern Ireland and UKFT.
