Book your free ticket for the Future Fashion Factory’s Annual Showcase 2023, to enjoy a series of keynote speeches and roundtable discussions delivered by industry experts, with a focus on R&D and innovation. The event will take place on 30th June in Leeds.
UKFT is the chair of the Future Fashion Factory, a £5.4 million R&D partnership exploring and developing new digital and advanced textile technologies to boost the design of high-value creative products.
We will be attending the event alongside other Future Fashion Factory’s Core Partners such as the British Fashion Council, AW Hainsworth and Burberry, as well as Yorkshire-based textile mills, and innovators from the fashion and textile industry.
Topics covered during the Annual Showcase will include ‘Celebrating Collaboration Between Academia and Industry’, ‘Sustainability and Manufacturing – Mills, Spinners and Weavers’ and ‘Transition to Next Gen Futures and Material Circularity’.
About the Future Fashion Factory
The Future Fashion Factory is a unique R&D programme that supports innovation in the UK fashion and textile sector, combining the expertise of ten core industry partners including UKFT. It brings together a wide range of organisations across the industry and involves the collaboration of the University of Leeds, the University of Huddersfield, the Royal College of Art and the Textile Centre of Excellence in Yorkshire.
