Future Fashion Factory funding opportunities

Businesses in the Yorkshire and Humber region seeking to develop new textile and industrial digital technologies in the luxury fashion and textile sector can apply for funding through the Future Fashion Factory programme.
Future Fashion Factory is an industry-led five-year £5.4m project, led by the University of Leeds in collaboration with the University of Huddersfield, the Royal College of Art, London, and the Textile Centre of Excellence.
UKFT CEO Adam Mansell is the chair of the steering committee for the project, which aims to increase productivity, shrink design process lead times, lower costs, and importantly, reduce waste.
Proposals should be focused around three key themes of:
- Digitally connected and sustainable processes
- Digital communication and data analytics
- Training, education and workforce development
Applications can be made by a single business or a group of businesses with a common need. At least one of the applicant companies must be based within the Yorkshire region. The closing date is 28th February.
Proposals must be developed in collaboration with an academic partner at the University of Leeds, University of Huddersfield or Royal College of Art. Future Fashion Factory is funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) under the UK government’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) initiative.
