SMEs in the North of England: Journey to Net Zero

10/03/2021

Small and medium-sized businesses in the North of England looking for practical solutions and tools to achieve low-carbon goals can attend Your business journey to Net Zero, a virtual event taking place on Friday 19th March from 09:40am – 4.20pm.

The event will be hosted by the NP11 group of Northern Local Enterprise Partnerships and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

Your business journey to Net Zero will facilitate understanding of practical steps for SMEs who wish to embark on their own Net Zero journey; the event also seeks to help businesses consider the opportunities stemming from the transition to a low carbon economy. There will be multiple presentations and interaction with leaders on this subject. The Minister for Climate Change, Lord Callanan and the Government’s UK Net Zero Business Champion, Andrew Griffith MP, will be addressing the event.

In addition, there will be a virtual exhibition hall for delegates to find out about their Local Enterprise Partnership, along with more products and services that will be of interest to them as they look to lower their carbon emissions.
