Suburban Turban was founded in 2007 by milliner Nicky Zip; their philosophy is to create stylish, sized, specifically adapted millinery for the ‘necessity’ headwear marketplace. Any form of hair loss can be traumatic and life changing for women. Clients come from both the short term hair loss and long term medical hair loss sectors.

Two collections are released every year which sell in 15 countries across the world. Each collection has styles for all occasions – from beautifully simple, super-soft jersey ‘everyday’ hats to chic berets and sparkling cocktail hats. Suburban Turban have become known for their special occasionwear and bespoke bridalwear which has been featured in Vogue, The Guardian and The Times.

Their design studio and manufacturing is based in the UK.
