Issues for UK fashion and textile manufacturers to consider
UKFT has worked with members, our dedicated employment advisor and external stakeholders to produce a checklist of issues for UK fashion and textile manufacturers to consider when planning a return to work.
There is also a template Covid-19 Working Practices Guide, which will help manufacturers implement government advice.
The recommendations outline measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of employees, as well as the wider community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition to these measures, employers should have regular two-way communication with staff to identify and address opportunities for improvement.
This document will be updated as the situation progresses and in response to developing government guidance. If you have any specific input, please email info@ukft.org with your suggestions.
