UK kid’s fashion and lifestyle labels at Playtime Paris

Almost 60 UK brands are showing their latest collections for autumn/winter 19 at Playtime Paris, which starts today.

Playtime, held at Parc Floral, near the Château de Vincennes, on the Eastern outskirts of Paris, is one of the world’s leading international childrenswear and maternitywear exhibitions and takes place in January and July each year.

Playtime Paris covers a large part of the childrenswear offer, from designer to contemporary (but largely excluding very classic collections with the exception of a very few classic babywear brands). Children’s apparel, footwear and accessories are the major focus, but Playtime Paris is a very important show for maternity wear.

Layette, children’s giftware, teething and children’s’ jewellery, nursery products and design services, are also well represented Playtime Paris covers a large part of the childrenswear offer, from designer to contemporary (but largely excluding very classic collections with the exception of a very few classic babywear brands). Children’s apparel, footwear and accessories are the major focus, but Playtime Paris is a very important show for maternity wear. Layette, children’s giftware, teething and children’s’ jewellery, nursery products and design services, are also well represented.

A wide variety of brands are showing for this season, including Inch Blue, Aden + Anais, Jellycat, Poco Nido, The Bonnie Mob, Age of Innocence, Beau Loves, Belle Enfant and Young Soles.

  • Anyware

Anyware is a premium kids-wear brand, created by award-winning designer and acclaimed British singer/songwriter Jessie Ware.   • Avery Row

Avery Row specialises in textile related accessories for parent and baby. Featuring soft geometric prints in a fresh and clean colour palette, products are perfectly stylish both in your home and on the go. The first product was the Go Everywhere Mat, a stylish portable playmat that comes with a leather carry handle, ready to accompany your baby on their play adventures from the living room to the park. The collection has since expanded to include blankets, bedding and cushions.


  • Britannical

Britannical is an award-winning luxury British children’s clothing brand for girls and boys up to 8 years of age. It specialises in immaculately tailored outerwear, which it makes in the heart of London, using the finest British cloth and craftsmanship. It is proud to be an ethical brand with a heritage going back to the 1880s.


  • Claude and Co

Creating Unisex clothing for Little Individuals up to 4 years old. The capsule is not seasonal, preferring to add new colours, shapes and designs to complement each other. The brand believes in every piece being timeless, with a nod to nostalgia but youthful, fun and comfortable. Claude Said So, Milking It, and Part Of Something are our loved brand slogans. Claude and Co designs in the UK and manufactures in Portugal. Claude and Co won the Junior Design Award for Best Unisex Fashion Collection.


  • Dinoski

The kids’ skiwear market is boring. There’s no stand-out brands and everything looks pretty similar. This is despite the fact that one of the most important things for parents is being able to easily spot their kids on the slopes. Dinoski decided to do something about it, offering an awesome product range with a simple but distinct design; a cross between a super hero and an animal but that doesn’t look like fancy dress.


  • Eve & Rose

Eve & Rose is a range of luxurious, pregnancy-safe beauty products, produced in France to meet the needs of pregnant women and new mothers. The soft and efficient formulas are organic-certified by Cosmos. The best part ? 50% of our profits from its awesome products are donated to helping children in need.


  • Faune

Faune is a beautiful children’s nightwear brand, created by two friends Delia and Nicola. Feeling frustrated at the lack of traditional nightwear options for their children they decided to launch our own. The collection consists of a range of vintage inspired nightgowns and pyjamas which are not only pretty and functional but more importantly comfortable too. It is designed in London and produced in an ethical family run factory in India using 100% pure cotton. Faune follows the concept of slow fashion and does not react to constant changing trends. Instead nature and freedom influence the brand’s timeless style.


  • I haven’t the foggiest

Embodying the freedom, innocence and sweet simplicity of childhood. Devoted to expressing luxury childrenswear in unique paintings transporting little girls to an enchanted world.


  • Kidunk

Kidunk is the exciting new clothing brand designed for play.   • Kokori

KOKORI is a fresh contemporary minimal girls wear brand for 2-8 years (92-128 cm) old girls established in London after many years of dreaming and researching. Its ethos is to produce a joyful simplicity of the highest quality in a sustainable manner, timeless garments with sophisticated little creative details.


  • Michele Payne

Michele Payne loves doodling, drawing and painting, then interpreting her ideas for characters and patterns in Illustrator or Photoshop to create ranges that are fun and playful. As a freelancer, she has collaborated with many childrenswear brands, including Pigeon Organics, Minicool, Mothercare, Lilly + Sid and Hibou Home, creating designs for clothing, bedding, wallpaper and gift.


  • Mimi & Lula

Since Mimi & Lula launched its debut collection last summer, things have just got bigger, better and more sparkly. The brand’s stylish and practical accessories, made for girls who love to express their individuality, are the glittery toast of the town. For 2018, it is turning the dial up to eleven – whether it’s tough superheroes, majestic queens or magical fairies, there is a collection of brand new looks that are lovingly designed to let girls indulge their most sparkly dreams!


  • Miss Nella

Miss NELLA brings innocent and whimsical nail painting to kids of all ages. Miss Nella is water-based, odour free and peel-off nail polish, perfect for children. The hypoallergenic, safe cosmetics allows enables little ones to explore fashion safely.


  • Mori

MORI is a design-focused online baby-wear brand that aims to enhance and simplify the way parents shop for baby essentials. The brand uses unique and super soft bamboo and organic-cotton fabric which is ideal for a newborn baby’s skin.


  • Nellie Quats

Nellie Quats is a girl’s clothing brand making stylish, modern clothing with hint of tradition. The brand designs with active children in mind so comfort remains our number one priority. All products are made in the UK to the highest standard, meaning garments are hard wearing and can be handed down generations. Using only natural, top quality fabrics, all our garments can be washed at 30 degrees (making them practical for parents too).


  • Nibbling

The label uses natural materials, sourced sustainably, and its focus is on craftsmanship and ethical production.


  • Organic Zoo

Urban, playful, sustainable. Made for small people with big personalities. ‘Organic zoo’ believe that the clothes we and our children wear should carry a story we can be all proud of. The capsule range, created from 100% organic cotton, is produced entirely in Europe with a commitment to quality, fair trade and the environment. The collection reflects brand’s signature style, a mix of classics and contemporary with a palette of eco whites, greys with a dash of mustard and pine green.


  • Question Everything

Award winning brand Question Everything was started in 2012 by Angie Adams. Angie’s love of vintage clothes, classic cuts and contemporary prints is the inspiration behind QE’s avant­garde designs. Her background rests at the heart of each dress, which is hand smocked by a local community of women in the Philippines. Interpret it how you want: dress up, dress down, dress differently – and most importantly, dress with attitude.

  • The Middle Daughter

THE MIDDLE DAUGHTER is the brand new girls wear label from the creative force behind No Added Sugar, launching for AW19. The label will bestow girls with a modern wardrobe offering imbued with a minimal and directional aesthetic. Age 4-14yrs


  • Toastie Pig

Toastie Pig is a British childrenswear brand with a focus on functional, sustainable and highly comfortable outerwear. The brand creates eye catching, thoroughly considered outerwear that is light yet warm, with annually revived core collections that focus on the needs of the Tiny Explorer. Collections evolve year on year, transcending seasonal trends.


  • We A Family

We A Family designs workwear-inspired, practical and exciting clothes for little makers. Driven by creative life experiences and natural outdoor habitat, the brand values the importance of using hands as our main tool.   • Wild Hearts Wonder

Livingetc’s ‘must must must buy’. Wild Hearts Wonder wants to inspire children to uncover their wild imaginations so that they might just change the world. The brand creates beautifully conceived hand-painted prints, crafted in London, coveted by children. At the heart of its prints is a modern take on our rich British tradition of illustration and story-telling. Designed in London, digitally-printed in Portugal.   • Wynken

Wynken is a unisex brand from London creating childrenswear from 2 years to 11 years. Elbe Lealman established Wynken in 2014 after becoming a mother. Her idea was to create contemporary clothing for modern kids with strong contemporary design and quality at its core but also a sense of playfulness that would appeal to young minds.
