AForce London is a British manufacturer, specialising in leather goods, based in London. The company houses over 120 individual machines including Perfection, 3D Printing, UV Printing, Laser Cutting, CNC Stitching, Quilting, Splitting, Skiving, Embossing Full Hide Cutting, all of which cater to the production needs of designers.

The company produces a wide range of leather goods such as handbags, belts, purses, wallets, any type of garments, bracelets, key holders, mobile phone holders and laptop cases.

AForce’s mission in a post-Brexit world is to offer an end-to-end service, from concept to finalised piece, all under one roof, in the UK, eliminating the need for various suppliers, and streamlining the entire process.

AForce said: “Currently as it stands, we are the only entity in the UK to provide services to this magnitude. We have in-house designers to assist in creating designs and/or simply executing them, a team of specialists who can convert any designs into a machine compatible format for large scale production, as well as leather craftsmen with a wide range of knowledge, to guide and assist designers throughout. Our priority is to offer an unprecedented service to luxury fashion designers globally.

“In the climate we live in today, sustainability is a key issue on the mind of most designers. With that being said, we strive to focus on sustainability along with our social and economic responsibility through efficiently refashioning leather excess. Our aim is to create circularity in the leather industry, thus minimising its contribution to landfills. We have also partnered with individuals from the academic and scientific realms to establish a patented formula to create a biodegradable leather, thus allowing future designers to remain consciously sustainable without compromising on the quality of their leather goods. Our Leather Force programme is revolutionary, and unheard of in the industry currently and is all in the effort to create a greener production system.”

AForce does not currently have a minimum order quantity as the firm would like to offer an opportunity for designers to produce even limited collections.

The company currently has approximately 50 employees. AForce said it has worked with designer brands, luxury and high end brands as well as young independent brands such as Ozwald Boateng, London Valor, Hopeful London, the Royal Opera House, Sons Of Crafts and German Opera House.
