Member Spotlight: Blade & Rose fun and funky children’s clothes

28/09/2021

Blade & Rose baby and children’s clothing comes in a wide range of fun unisex designs and ranges for boys and girls, with signature characters, fun collaborations and new fashion collections launching each season.

A homegrown UK business, UKFT member Blade & Rose focuses on comfort, quality and design. By using luxurious fabrics, the clothing is durable yet soft and stretchy for active children.

Blade and Rose

Blade & Rose was started by mum-of-two Amanda Peffer whilst on maternity leave with her daughter. She decided to design her own unique range of leggings based on the concept of embracing the beautiful nappy bottom instead of covering it – especially as babies and toddlers spend most of their time crawling or climbing with their bottoms in the air! After finding nothing suitable on the children’s market, Amanda created her own range of top quality leggings, each with their own unique and trendy design. A major component of the development was to ensure that the quality of the fabric was durable, functional, would wash well and most importantly, that was soft and kind to children’s delicate skin. The initial range quickly sold out and now the British family business has stockists all over the world including Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Greece, Japan, US, China and Dubai. The company continues to go from strength to strength with an expanding product range including children’s hats, tops, socks and bibs.

Upon gaining national success with their leggings, the lovely brand expanded its range and began producing gorgeous clothing sets, hoodies, dresses and swimwear. Blade & Rose now operates in 33 countries, and has won multiple parenting awards.

Why Blade & Rose joined UKFT

Blade & Rose have always relied on UKFT as a resource for current affairs and admired their exemplary reputation in the industry. With the changes that Brexit has brought to all industries, the brand felt it was the perfect time to join, so they can seek guidance and share best practices with specialists in the field. The information and guidance they have received since joining has already been second to none and they highly recommend anyone considering joining.
