08/01/2024

As the fashion industry embraces a more sustainable ethos, leading UK brands are incorporating eco-friendly practices and materials in their AW24/5 collections and will unveil their latest innovations at Pitti Uomo this January.

Tricker’s: Tricker’s introduces new leathers from UK tannery CF Stead on iconic styles and a new Hiking boot collection. The continued use of Olivvia leather, naturally tanned with liquor from the olive oil industry, remains exclusive to Tricker’s for shoemaking.

Heron’s Ghyll: Natural materials take centre stage in Heron’s Ghyll’s tailoring. The collection features suits crafted from bamboo and eucalyptus, reflecting a commitment to experimentation with various fibres and sustainable practices.

Cheaney: Cheaney’s commitment to eco-awareness extends beyond local sourcing. By maintaining a hands-on approach throughout the entire production process, from ethically sourcing materials to refurbishing shoes, the brand minimises its environmental footprint. This conscientious journey ensures each shoe not only upholds high quality but also reflects Cheaney’s dedication to a more accountable future.
