The UKFT team spent a wonderful evening reconnecting with its members in person at the UKFT Winter Reception, on the 1st of December. Held twice a year, once in Summer and Winter, this event is a great opportunity for us and our members to network and set the scene for the future of the fashion and textile industry.

This year, our Winter Member Reception took place at the Art Worker’s Guild, in a beautiful Georgian building located in the heart of Bloomsbury, London. Each of our guests received dairy milk buttons, courtesy of UKFT Member Courtney & Co. The pouch included two types of buttons:

• Edible buttons made of chocolate and dairy (20-40%) by the Costwold Chocolate Company in Stow-on-the-Wold
• Real buttons (this time not edible!) produced by Courtney & Co. in Bourton-on-the-Water, made of milk casein and containing 96% dairy

We were pleased to see new and familiar faces discussing around drinks and nibbles. UKFT exists for its members and it is essential for us to continue regularly connecting with them in person. As always, our team stays available throughout the year for any question you may have. In the meantime, we would like to give a special thank you to everyone who attended the reception!
