Weaving Conference: A key event for the UK weaving sector

26/04/2024

Following the success of its 2022 edition, the Weaving Conference is returning on 16 May 2024 in Huddersfield for a full day dedicated to the latest weaving innovation and technology, with a special focus on AI, Robotics and Cloud Solutions.

The Weaving Conference is a key event for professionals from across the weaving sector. It offers the opportunity to network with industry colleagues while uncovering data-driven solutions that will keep UK companies ahead of the curve.

Organised by UKFT in partnership with the Weaving Group, it is curated for the industry by the industry.

What to expect?

Focusing on AI, Robotics and Cloud Solutions, the Weaving Conference will offer a comprehensive recap of the most important innovation trends from ITMA 2023 (which UKFT attended alongside a group of talented young textile technicians – Read more). Last year’s exhibition gave an overview of the entire textile value chain, highlighting cutting-edge technologies, sustainable solutions and efficient production processes.

The Weaving Conference will offer the opportunity to assess new advances coming out of a UK-based series of cross-industry research projects, and to discuss the legislation and macro trends that will shape our sector in the years to come.

UKFT, in partnership with the Weaving Group, has put together a line-up of insightful speakers from leading companies from across the supply chain including Laxtons, Picanol and WEFAN. Click here to discover full speaker line-up.
