Brexit update on intellectual property (IP)

01/08/2019

UKFT associate member Keltie has outlined the latest developments relating to intellectual property (IP) as the UK prepares to leave the European Union.

Whether there is a deal or no deal, the UKIPO and EUIPO are attempting to assist trade mark owners with a conversion system that allows EU marks to be cloned into equivalent UK rights.

A copy of the update will be sent to UKFT members. For more information, please email info@ukft.org

UKFT will be updating its no deal Brexit advice to fashion and textile companies early in September but in meantime, please do visit the Brexit section of the UKFT website which we will be adding new guidance to as it becomes available.
